Transport Minister Edmond Haxhinasto inspected the Port of Durres over the new ferry line Durres-Bari. According to the minister, the entry of this operator has led to substantial reduction of tariffs on about 20-30%. Stating that this is reflected in the service provided to citizens, Minister Haxhinasto said that the government will create opportunities to use new tools and European standards.
"The introduction of this operator led to a substantial reduction of tariffs that vary from 20 to 30 percent, this is reflected in the service provided to citizens. Our attention will focus on the use of the most innovative standards required in order for our citizens to get equal services as those of Greece or Italy citizens, " Minister Haxhinasto said.
