The theft of 713 million leks in the Bank of Albania is obviously something to be concerned, according to the speaker of Parliament, Ilir Meta, who also said he will fully support the investigation on the case.
“This is something unpleasant to happen. The case has been reported by the head of the institution and other directors. I am fully convinced that the prosecution will investigate the case and they have my support" Meta said.
Out of 713 million leks, 143 million were destined to be removed from the market and destroyed for ecomic purposes.
