A panel of judges from the Mitrovica Basic Court, convicted yesterday, Z.V of having committed on 14 August 2010 in Rudare village the criminal offense of obstructing official persons in performing official duties. Z.V. was sentenced to 12 months of imprisonment and fined 300 euros.
On 14 August 2010, Z.V. prevented Kosovo Police from sending a cistern truck, destined for the Team Petrol station in Rudare village, to the customs terminal in Mitrovica for further custom checks in regards to possible smuggling of goods.
All parties have the right to appeal within a 15 days from the date when the judgment has been served to them.
