Today, Prime Minister Rama had a meeting with Philip M. Breedlove, General in the U.S. Air Force, Allied Commander Europe of NATO Command Operations, (SACEUR) and commander of U.S. European Commander (EUCOM). General Breedlove thanked the Prime Minister for the important contribution Albania has given to the NATO as a worthy ally, wherever it is needed.
General Philip M. Breedlove congratulated the Prime Minister on the very good performance of the Albanian Armed Forces in all NATO missions they have been engaged. Also, he showed confidence that Albania, already a candidate country, will further develop performance in this fruitful partnership in order to maintain freedom and peace in the world.
On his part, Prime Minister Rama assured the General on the support the Albanian Government will continue to give in the future with the participation of the Armed Forces in the missions of the Alliance.
