The seven members of the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania will be called for questioning for the investigation over the theft of 713 million ALL from the Albanian treasury.
The information has been confirmed by Top Channel by the Tirana Prosecution, which has not announced when they will call for questioning the members of the highest supervisory institution for the policies and administration of the Bank of Albania.
The members are: the Council Chairman, Ardian Fullani, Governor of the Bank of Albania. Elisabeta Gjoni, vice Chairwoman, and members Petraq Milo, Dhori Kule, Ela Golemi, Ermelinda Meksi and Ardian Civici.
They will be questioned because the Task-Force Unit of the Tirana Prosecution is trying to verify the responsibilities for the administration and organization of the workflow, and the implementation of the internal regulation, since so far it has been declared that the procedures have not been followed properly.
The Prosecution General has finally given an official version for the investigations of the biggest scandal of the Bank of Albania, which so far has implicated 10 people.
The Prosecution says that the investigations aim to shed light on the complete mechanism used for the theft of 713 million USD, by verifying the assets of each suspect and for finding those who had the responsibility to prevent this event./Top Channel/
