During his visit in Tropojë, Deputy PM Nike Peleshi stopped by in the touristic area of Valbonë and inspected the works being done in the road Bajram Curri.
Deputy PM said he is convinced that the Territorial Reform as well as the development philosophy of the government, will transform the region of Tropojë.
“This road is very important for this touristic area that, we must say it, has developed on its own, because it will make it breathe. We are convinced that the latest changes, the Territorial and Administrative Reform on the one hand but also the philosophy of the new Albanian government to support our areas and our new municipalities, will transform this area. Our plan for Tropojë is an integral plan. We will not be pleased only with the completion of a piece of road or of an aqueduct. We want to complete a development plan which has in it all components, from infrastructure to aqueducts, sewages, services, tourism development,” Deputy PM said.
Deputy PM highlighted the great touristic potential of Valbona and its increasing success in attracting foreign tourists, while to Albanians it is still unknown.
“The tourism potential is really big here. This area has increased the number of tourist without any supporting program, and it is a shame to admit that its beauties have been first discovered by foreigners and not by Albanians, because there are more foreign visitors than Albanian ones,” Deputy PM said.
