In some Decentralized Offices in Greece has started the application for foreighn citizens to earn Greek citizenship, for the second generation of immigrants living in Greece.
According to the President of the Federation of Albanian Associations in Greece, Edmond Guri, applications have started in Attika, located at the address Hypatias 6 (Υπατίας 6) and in the Decentralized Directorate in Lamia, section of citizenship.
"According to contacts Federation had with senior officials of the Directorate of Decentralized results that the application is in th preliminary stage of online synchronization of whole system, where soon is expected the implementation of the new law to a large extent, by all analog directories.
Attention, applications must be made in the relevant sections of citizenship in every Decentralised Office! More detailed information will be available in the coming days," you can read in a press release by the Federation of Albanian Associations in Greece.
According to secondary and non official sources, in Greece live more than 700,000 Albanian immigrants and nearly 2,000,000 Albanians known as "Arvanites" - Albanias who have lived in Greece from millenia but after Londer Conference in 1913 - when lands inhabitated by Albanians are dividet between Serbia and Greece by Major Forces - they remained in today's Greece.
