Divjakë-Karavasta National Park Visited by French Tourists

French Tourists Enjying Divjakë-Karavasta Park

  The National Park Divjakë-Karavasta, a major tourist attraction in the area, continues to draw visitors even in the fall. Almost every day numerous tourists flock into the park, which is home to rare bird species. At this time of the year the migratory birds return from cool places, therefore visitors are particularly interested in bird watching.

On Friday around 40 French tourists visited this park. During their visit which lasted around 3 hours, they were familiarized with the biodiversity values of the park, watched the habitats of birds and their nests.

The tourists also took interest in historic and cultural features of the park area. In their field trip the tourists were guided by specialized employees of the park administration, ATA reports.

The bird population of Divjakë-Karavasta is both rich and diverse; opportunities abound for bird watching enthusiasts to observe these unique creatures in their natural habitats.
