Albania and Germany will implement joint projects in the field of agriculture. German company Deutsche Agrar Holding and Albanian Agri-Business Council have signed an agreement of cooperation paving the way for encouragement and development of concrete initiatives in the sector of agriculture and agribusiness.
Rolf Neuendorf, representative of Deutsche Agrar Holding, said on Wednesday that in partnership with KASH (Albanian Agri-Business Council) and the line institutions they will implement a joint project on construction of three agroterminals in the districts of Lushnje , Lezhë and Saranda.
The project is on the final stage of detailing the design, space, territory, capacity and cost for each agroterminal, which are built for the first time in our country as multi-function centers in the sector of agriculture to give a boost to production, trading and exports.
Neuendorf said that the company he represents comes to Albania after a long experience in the field of agriculture and the project will be implemented up to European standards.
In addition, he said that in conjunction with Albanian agribusiness we aim to realize ISO certification necessary for export of agricultural products as well as provide technical assistance to the staff of KASH on applications for EU projects on agriculture project funding.
