Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci said in an interview to the Austrian newspaper "Die Presse", that Kosovo is an indirect victim of refugees. Thaci "accused" Brussels of double standards, saying that Kosovo citizens deserve visa liberalization, and do not have this chance. He further stressed that Kosovo has made some progress, but that it is possible to do more.
Hashim Thaci said that in the Balkans today there is more peace, security and cooperation, perhaps as never before. According to him, this due to the several summits in Vienna for the Balkans, while he added that Russia could pose a risk for the region. Kosovo's foreign minister further said that Kosovo and the region has challenges ahead, and among them are economy and employment.
According to Thaci, the Special Court was not voted by the people, but it was an obligation to the international community.
