Bank of Albania, reported today that has sold in an auction treasury bills worth of 10.2 billion lek, with 12 and 6 months maturity term.
While the total requests submitted by participants in auctions was 11.75 billion. According to the National Bank, the 12-month maturity bonds were issued with a minimum interest of 3.21%, while maintaining the same amount as in the previous auction.
Meanwhile, bonds with maturity of 3 months recorded a new historical minimum of 2.63%. The domestic market continues to offer high liquidity in the banking system reflecting good capitalisation and opportunities to increase lending.
