Bujar Luca, renowned abstract Albanian painter whose creativity is famous around the world, will be back home with the solo “Black Box” exhibition at the National Gallery of Arts on Wednesday.
Bujar Luca, who counts around 20 solo and joint painting exhibitions, will be returning to the Albanian capital of Tirana after 11 years.
Paris-based painter Bujar Luca has received a series of awards and prizes, including the “Ambassador of the Nation” medal awarded by the former President of the Republic Bamir Topi in 2008, “Silver Medal” by the Richard Lounsbery Foundation in 2006 and the Film Festival Award for Best Costume Design in 1979, 1981 and 1985.
Bujar Luca’s artworks have been collected in Paris, New York, London, Moscow, Brussels etc.
This week he will be back with his solo exhibition, featuring 25 years of creativity. Black Box exhibition will open its doors to the public on October 21 and will stay open until November 15.
