Minister of Internal Affairs, Elona Gjebrea, in a statement to the Albanian Telegraphic Agency ATA said that ,”the low temperatures in Europe and the Balkans could bring change in the illegal immigrants way from Syria and North Africa to Europe, where our country may become a transit country. “
“In such a situation, the Government does not want to be found unprepared and has undertaken a detailed analysis to reduce the risk of the situation.”
According to her, the areas in the south are the most vulnerable especially the border areas.
Deputy Minister, Gjebrea said that ,”the homeless shelters have a maximum capacity of 350 people adding that,”the border crossings in the south of the country are prepared for every eventuality.”Gjebrea said..
