The Audio Visual Media Authority (AMA) and Media Council have signed an agreement of cooperation as part of the efforts to build a cooperation relation with the journalists, media and entire audio-visual market in Albania as well as ensure the development of an independent, pluralist and professional media.
This agreement, which serves to build linking bridges between the relevant bodies, is aimed at insuring media pluralism, its democracy and preserving the standards of audio-visual media oriented towards unbiased information, promotion of culture and values.
The chairman of Audio-Visual Media Authority Gentian Sala and the head of “Media Council” association, Koloreto Cukali, have signed the first agreement which will enable information sharing between the parties involved, clear the way for publications as well as strengthen the role of journalist in today’s audio visual market.
In attendance of the signing ceremony were the founders of the Media Council, representatives of AMA as well as renowned journalists.
