After a field inspection across the territory of Berati region, specialists of Regional Directorate for National Culture of Berat announce that the Kabashi bridge, a first- category monument of culture, which carries rare architecture values, miraculously escaped the flooding in the area of Çorovoda, although it sustained minor damage.
After inspecting the damage, the specialists intervened by cleaning up the ruined part and sealing the bridge off as unsafe for the pedestrians to cross over.
Work is underway to design a project on total restoration of the bridge as the monument is in dire need of repair on the eastern corner./ATA/
