Albanian National Security Council summoned by President Bujar Nishani met on Saturday around 19:05 at the headquarters of the Presidency, where is expected to discuss the measures to be taken to deal with terrorism, which threatens today the world more than ever, following recent attacks in France.
At the meeting, without the presence of the media, are present the President, Bujar Nishani, President of the Assembly, Mr. Ilir Meta, Prime Minister Edi Rama, Foreign Minister Bushati, Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, head of SIS, Ajazi Visho Lika and Chief of General Staff, Major General Jerome Bazo.
The latest meeting, which has been focused on the issue of terrorism was held on 17 January. The meeting emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation and coordination between security institutions, while Prime Minister Rama promised then the National Security Centre.
Although the Albanian authorities say that there does not exist a concrete threat for Albania, Security Measures has been taken all over Tirana.
