The European Commission will propose this month the liberalization of visa regime with Ukraine, despite the Dutch referendum against the Association Agreement EU-Ukraine, said an EU source.
Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters based on its own resources, the EC is also working on a politically sensitive proposal, about the liberalization of visas also with Kosovo, media reports.The President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, in March this year, promised to the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, that the EU executive will present the proposal in April.Ukraine has about 45 million inhabitants.Ukraine is not the only country that eagerly awaits the regime of visa-free travel. EU leaders have pledged to speed up the process of visa liberalization with Turkey.
