Albania is ranked at 82th place in the report of "Reporters without Borders" in terms of media freedom in 2015, out of 180 in total.
The report also said that the implementation of the legislation is necessary and that there should be more media freedom.The report notes that from 2014, Albania is increased by 3 places. While Kosovo is ranked 87th. Last on the list to the "Reporters without Borders" is Eritea. While countries like Turkey and Egypt have Government-controlled media.
