Ylli Manjani |
In an interview to the Austrian newspaper "Wiener Zeitung", Albanian Justice Minister Ylli Manjani made a surprising statement, he stressed that he knows 35 corrupted corrupt judges.
"It is easy to identify 35 of 300 judges. We must first clean up our house and offer hope for the future", says Manjani.
Manjani thinks this year Justice Reform will be adopted, while stressing the need to ensure sufficient majority in Parliament to amend the Constitution."I'm sure. The goal is to be adopted before themselves. Opposition should think that this is not only a requirement of the EU, but also the pressure of the society. Because the Albanians want a judicial reform. We hope we can convince the European Commission to recommend the starting of negotiations, but I do not think thi will be ratified by the member states of EU. There is a lot of skepticism. There is criticism and warnings coming from UK, Holland and Germany. The only country that has always supported us is Austria ", says Manjani.
