Socialist deputy, also the President of the Albanian delegation to NATO, Pandeli Majko said that after two weeks in Tirana be held for the first time the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO, that will be attended by 700 representatives.
Majko stressed that the presentation in Tirana of this Assembly shows the change of international status of Albania.
"Albania as a NATO member will welcome the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO. Parliamentary Assembly of NATO in Tirana is a quality of what has changed in the international status of Albania. During 3 days of work will be discussed to cope with the difficult challenges of the future coalition. It is the first meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO in our country," said Majko.The Parliamentary Assembly of NATO will take place for the first time in Tirana, since our country's membership in the North Atlantic Organization, in April 2009. Her works will take place from 27 to 29 May.
