Berat Police arrested yesterday after three months investigation three persons who helped various citizens to overcome illegaly the border to Greece. The arrests were made in the operation codenamed "asylum 3". The arrested are, Shefit Arapi, 50; Ylli Metushi, Gëzim Dodoveci respectively 54 years and 38 years.
In coraboration with each other these people have transported illegally to Greece, various citizens of the the city of Berat in exchange of cash.
More concretely, today are caught at the border crossing point known "three bridges", Përmet, a citizen from Berat crossing illegaly the border in exchange of an amount of 400 euros. During Police operation were seized 2 vehicles; 9 cel phones; 495 euros and 4 biometric passports. Materials passed to the Prosecution of Berat, for the offense of "Help for illegal border crossing", in collaboration.
