The Dutch government said today through a statement that this year about 840 immigrants are caught trying to enter illegally in the UK through Holland.
The number is on the rise compared to 2015, where 500 immigrants were caught. The immigrants were hid into trucks to cross by boat from Holland to England.
The Ministry of Justice says that nearly 80% of them are caught in Dutch ports, while the rest just continues their way to Britain. The most of these immigrants who tend to go to Britain for a better life are Albanians. According to Dutch official figures, about half of immigrants caught are from Albania.
