Albanians in Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and other countries in the Balkans and the world, today are celebrating the Flag Day or dhe Day of the Independence.
This day is celebrated in the honor of 28 November 1912 when in Vlore is proclaimed the Declaration of Independence.
In Albania and in Kosovo are announced various manifestations.
Currently, Albania on this important day in its history, is a member of NATO and a candidate for admission to the European Union, while Kosovo and the EU last week have held the first meeting of the Council for Stabilization and Association Agreement .
