The US Agency for International Development USAID is supporting from several years farmers of Southern Albania in the cultivation of the mandarin culture.
In Konispol area in Saranda, farmers have expanded year after year the planted areas by increasing production and exports where a large part of the quantities produced is directed towards Kosovo.In this area farmers gather each year in a special celebration to present their products.
