One of the Albanians heroes of the Greek Revolution will be the subject of a film to be cast on Hollywood cinemas this year.
It is about Marko Bocari, one of the protagonists of the events of 1821 that led to Greece's declaration of independence from the Ottoman Empire.
The Albanian hero is played by the Greek actor Saimon Kasianidis.THe filming of the dramatic romance "Cliffs of Freedom" that speaks about the bond of love between a Turkish officer and a Greek girl were carried out in Santa Fe, Mexico.
The scenario is of Marian Metropoulos, wife of Din Metropoulos, one of the richest Greek-Americans of Greek diaspora, whom Forbes magazine ranked him among the 20 richest people in the US, the income of whom is estimated at about 2.5 billion dollars.
The budget of the film that has the standards of a Hollywood production amounts to 25 million euro.
The film director is Van Ling, whose name is linked with productions like Titanic or Terminator 2, while images director is James Cameron.
The premiere of the film is expected to be shown at the end of 2017 in Greece.
