Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said today that Serbia is ready to send its army in Kosovo if the Serbian population in Kosovo is endangered.
Asked whether Serbia is ready to send the army in Kosovo, Nikolic said that "if the Serbs are killed, yes."
Serbian President made these comments after the meeting of National Security Council, held at the headquarters of the General Staff of the Army of Serbia in Belgrade, Beta agency reports. He said that yesterday the conflict passed was in the edge and stressed that the deployment of special units of the Kosovo police in northern Kosovo, where the train from Belgrade arrived, was a sign that Pristina wants conflict.
Nikolic estimated that the sending of the train with the inscription on it "Kosovo is Serbian", was not a provocation.
