Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, who according to Serbian media said that Kosovo and Serbia must share the territories has already spoken about Macedonia, saying that Macedonia is not a state and should be shared by Kosovo and Bulgaria.
In an interview for "VizionPlus" Rohrabacher said that the creation of Macedonia as a state was a failure and that now, all the circumstances are created for this state to be shared by its neighboring, including Kosovo and Bulgaria.
"My position is that Macedonia is not a state. I am sorry but it is not a state. They are so divided that they will never be able to go well together. So Kosovars and Albanians of Macedonia should become part of Kosovo. While the rest of the country should become part of Bulgaria or any other country with which they claim to be related.
Asked if the administration of the President-elect of the United States Donal Trump supports the idea of Rohrabacher, the latter said he has an impact on American foreign policy and that in future in Commission's hearing will be discussed the issue of the change of borders in the Balkans.
"I have influence on US policy makers now. I'm the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives that deals with that part of the world. We will have hearings in the coming months.
One of the issues that we will discussed is the change of the borders in a way they make sense and bring peace to the Balkans," the congressman said.
In the end, the Republican Congressman said that the US is not afraid of Russian influence in the Balkans, despite indications.
