Albanian language becomes official in: Podgorica, Ulcinj, Bar, Pljevlja, Rozaje and Tuzi.
Amendments to the Law on the rights and freedoms of minorities in Montenegro, provides the formalization of minority languages in all municipalities where they constitute 5% of the population, Montenegro media reports.
According to the Montenegrin authorities, the Albanian language, except in Ulcinj, Tuzi and Plav, with the new law now is formalized also in Rozaje, Podgorica and Tivat.This constitutes a major step towards the advancing of Albanians rights in Montenegro./Oculus News
