On August 9; today 186 years ago, in 1830, the Ottoman government, killed about 1000 and arrested 400 to 500 Albanians in Bitola. These were not common people, but the elite of the time.
This event should be reminded because the propotion if the number of Albanins in Albanian territories, it is equal to 12 thousand Albanians that Serbia killed for two years.
This event should be commemorated because of this Albanian elite killing, is pushed for 100 years the creation of Albanian elite statehood; this made that all our neighbors, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Greece to win indipencence from Ottomans before us and to extend their territories to the detriment of our territories.
This event should be commemorated because it was an unseen massacre organized into infidelity. All these people were invited to a formal ceremony, and during the ceremonial military parade, a platoon is ordered to turn the weapons toward the Albanians and to kill them.
