Former defense minister and Bulgaria's ambassador to NATO, Belgium and Luxembourg, Boyko Noev stated that Macedonia should urgently seek preventive and stabilizing mission in the European Union.
About Gjorge Ivanov letter submitted to the Council of Europe, the US, NATO and Turkey, Noev regards it as a kind of signal sent to the international community in Skopje that the ship is sinking.
"It is a dramatic admission that the country is on the brink of total anarchy. The political crisis is escalating, where virtually Macedonia is losing its sovereignty," said Noev.According to him, Macedonia has no future as unitary state, saying that virtually cantonalisation has already begun and according to him the issue is whether the country will eventually be divided peacefully or violently.
He also added that is important to have peace in Macedonia because in this country live thousands of Bulgarians.
