Dardans of Illyria are of the same ethnicity with the Trojans, this is shown in the Roman book "The History of Emperors.", the Historian Shqipe Hoxha writes.
The Roman Author tells about the origin of the Illyrian Emperor, Claudius II, and says "In this war led Claudius, is distinguished the Dalmatian cavalry, and purportedly implicates that Claudius was of this province.
