In the book of Charles de Susini "La Corse et les Corses, Opinions et Documents" published in Paris in 1906, on page nr. 353 of his writing, is a short but very interesting peace title "Corses et Anglais" , which compares the Corsicans and Albanians.
In fact, this article was written more than two centuries ago, precisely in 1877 by Romanian doctor, Georgiade Miculu Obedenaru, who thinks that a part of Corsicans can be precisely of Albanian origin.
The following account of the doctor:"In Corsica migrated Thrace Pelasgians Albanian Pelasgians?
Taking into account the characteristics of the races of Corsica, we accept that there are not Thrace Pelasgians, industrialists, artisans, merchants, but Albanian Pelasgians, soldiers, mercenaries, swordsmen, who came to live in the ancient Kyrnos.
In fact, we know very well that some Corsican are brave, fearless warriors, but also cruel and vindictive; many are prone to robbery.
In cities, the profession of gendarme, police and prison guard fits particularly this category of Corsican.
On the other hand, we see Albanians invaded by love for war and domination, and where support of the tribe is a paramount; they are all cousins.
Therefore, we believe that, given the similarity of the functional properties and intellectual abilities between Albanians and some categories of Corsicans, we will find certainly greater analogy between morphological and anatomical characteristics of both populations, when we have in hand a number of sufficient anthropological observations performed with clairvoyance.
Perhaps, over time, we will observe to some Corsican, other features similarly to Albanians."
