Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said today that the Europeans wherever in the world will not be safe when walking in the street if they continue with the current attitudes.
Turkey's NATO ally, is involved in a quarrel with Germany and the Netherlands; these countries has not allowed Turkish officials to make campaign in these countries to increase the power of Mr. Erdogan for referendum to be held in April.
Turkish officials have said they will not hold other campaign rallies in Germany untill the referendum of April 16.Meanwhile in Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier used today his first speech as President to make a strong warning addressed to Mr. Erdogan, saying that the Turkish president threatens to destroy everything that has reached Turkey in recent years and damage relations with its partners.
Turkey has repeatedly accused Germany of using Nazi tactics to prevent Turkish ministers attending the gatherings. Meanwhile, the arrest of the German-Turkish journalist Deniz Yücel in Turkey has sparked outrage in Germany./Oculus News
