Skanderbeg Castle, located at Rodon Cape, a strip-shaped as a peninsula that falls inside the Adriatic Sea in central Albania.
Lies in a triangular shape between Rodon gulf north and Lalzit gulf to south. Rodon Cape is the largest bay in the country, which closed to south the Drini River Bay.
Parallel with its coastline are stretching clay hills, which are distinguished by the forms surrounding the whole bay.

The wall of the Castle reaches a length of 400 meters and at its peak had roundtables towers.
In 1500 the castle was occupied by Venice.
As a result of corrosive activities of sea water part of the walls are submerged under the waters of the Adriatic.
