Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Entrepreneurship signed yesterday a cooperation agreement allowing tourists to visit the tourist island of Sazan.
The agreement that aims to develop tourism and its promotion was signed by Defense Minister Mimi Kodheli and the Minister of Economic Development, Tourism and Entrepreneurship, Milva Ekonomi.
In her speech, Economics Minister thanked Minister Kodheli for its willingness to contribute to the growth of tourism in our country putting at Albania disposal the properties that are administered by the Ministry of Defense.
"I thank Mrs. Kodheli that enabled as a very good thing for the Albanian tourism. We are on the eve of the summer tourist season and Albanian tour operators, travel agencies seek to have more tourism products to tourists and a constant demand that I make is that access on Sazan Island.
The fact that we allow tourists to spend some time on Sazan Island is obviously a great relief for local tourism. One of the conditions that the tourists had constantly is the security, so I thank you very much for this special attention that you did for the utilization of Sazan Island and to further promote the attraction of tourist use of Sazan", he said./Oculus News
