Thethi is too early settlement, based on historical records and archaeological discoveries. Here resided Oxets, Bythdos, Berbatis, Vlads, Kelmends and perhaps other uknown population groups. Thethi first appears documented in the books of Shkodra Sandzak census, in 1485, and at that time there were only seven big houses.
In 1976, Thethi is declared National Park. The natural resources of the region are linked together with the cultural and historical heritage of local residents, forming thus the most important basis for the development of tourism./Oculus News
