European Union Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn thanked Albanian writer Ismail Kadare for the support he has given to the EU representative in Albania, Ambassador Romana Vlahutin.
"I thank Imsail Kadare for the support of the EU ambassador in Tirana, Vlahutin. The European Union works hard for all the Albanian people," wrote Hahn.
Kadare, in a letter to Ambassador Vlahutin, asked not to link the act of "an unusual man" with the opinion of a whole people.Kadare reacted after a comment by publicist Kastriot Myftaraj, who was rated as a threat to Ambassador Vlahutin.
"So every Albanian who loves his homeland can kill Roman and this would be an anti-terrorist act, not a terrorist," wrote Myftaraj in his commentary./Oculus News
