More than 1 million and 100,000 Romanians, 450,000 Albanians and 420,000 Moroccan: These are the largest communities of foreigners resident in Italy in 2016, according to ISTAT's assessment.
However, according to ISTAT, the presence of Albanians has decreased by 4.1 percent compared to 2015, or 19 thousand fewer residents. Out of the estimates, 48.7 percent of the Albanian population are women cited in the Demographic Balance Report.
A part of these communities have a wider distribution of women, especially communities from Eastern Europe. Almost 80% of citizens from Ukraine are women, and such percentages are available to communities from Russia, Poland and Moldova. The opposite is for Egyptian and Pakistani communities, who have a greater spread of men resident in Italy. The number of the Chinese community in Italy (280,000 people in 2016) is negligible if compared to 1 billion people living in the Republic of China, while Albanians living in Italy represent almost 8% compared to those living in Albania, Followed by 3% Romanians and 2% Moldovans.
The maps clearly show that most foreigners live in the north compared to the total population. While in the last five years, there has been a bigger increase in taxes./Oculus News
