Archaeologists think they have found in the north of Greece the tomb of the influential philosopher, Aristotle, according to a press conference held in Thessaloniki.
Many scientists and archeologists believe that Aristotle is of Illyrian descend.
"There is strong evidence that we have found his tomb," said Kostas Sismanides, quoted by state television.Possibly the philosopher tomb is in the country where he was born, in the ancient town of Stagira, east of Chalkidiki peninsula, near the city of Olimpiada.
"Stagira's citizens brought Aristotle's bones to the place where hi is born in 322 BC, placing them south of the city of Khalkis and in the shoe-shaped building that is being analyzed," archaeologists say./Oculus News
