"With the proposal for internal dialogue for Kosovo, Aleksandar Vucic cast a dark shadow on Serbian history in the making of which he has worked also himself," writes Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung on the Serbian president's step.
"This year Serbia has wine with 'holes'. The reason for this has been given by President Aleksandar Vucic, who sought dialogue in Kosovo in mid-July," this daily says.
According to this paper, with the proposal for dialogue, Vucic has called on Serbs to understand that Kosovo is lost. The writing of this newspaper goes on to say that Vucic has left a dark shadow in Serbian history in which he once worked diligently, and now he is seeking to accept Kosovo's independence declared in 2008, backed by United States.
As reported by Deutsche Welle, the newspaper writes that Serbs do not think so deep. They have other concerns in mind; Jobs, good schools for their children, housing space they can afford, but not always the myth of Kosovo and Serbia.
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung says that because of the fear of losing worshipers in Serbia Vucic is not speaking in the right terms regarding the Kosovo issue./Oculus News
