Speaking about the Government's achievements in the first 100 days, the leader of the Democratic Union for Integration, Ali Ahmeti said in a local TV show interview that the Albanian language is becoming official throughout the country's territory and in all state institutions.
"Albanian is official, except in international communications and the two issues that have gone for interpretation at the Venice Commission - that of coins and uniforms of the army and police. Otherwise, the Albanian language is everywhere official - is written, spoken and archived in all state institutions.I hear someone is concerned about the '20 percent'. But the content of the Law is important and not the 20 percent, because the first draft of the law is the 'Albanian language' and here we have to bear in mind that the last word was the word of the National Liberation Army.
And we decided that the saying '20 percent 'is nothing compared to the content." Ahmeti said.
He also talked about the local elections, pointing out that in Kicevo, in the October 15 elections, he will win in the first round./Oculus News
