For the first time in these five years, the first half of 2017 has seen the occurrence of an unusual phenomenon with the amount of energy consumption by businesses surpassing that amount consumed by households.
The use of electricity by consumers in the first half of 2017 increased by 7.8 percent reaching thus 2.710 GWh from 2.515 GWh in the first six months of 2016.
The largest impact on the increased use of electricity by consumers was provided by non-household customers who contributed +7.0 percentage points in the first semester of 2017 compared to the same period of 2016 versus the contribution of +0, 8 percentage points of energy consumed by household customers/Oculus News
