The Albanian architect living in London since 2010, only after four years upon her arrival on the British island managed to get the trust for an ambitious project: the reconstruction of one of the most important and historic buildings in London.
She is Dona Hasanaj from Librazhd, who had moments when he thought about surrendering and returning to Albania but he did not give up the passion for architecture and the pride of being Albanian with a heavy weight on her shoulders in big London.
"Has been very tiring and stressful months, but the emotion I've experienced on the night of the fashon show will be memorable. That joy and that pride made me forget every other moment, because in the end we gave birth to the building," said Dona Hasanaj."Old Sessions House", the building build in the 18th century and serving for over 100 years as the Court of England, is the first project of Dona Hasanaj, a project that he followed closely since the designand up to implementation at the site, to restore the historic building to its original condition.
"In May of this year, Burberry expressed interest in launching the show at Old Sessions House during London's fashion week. It was a great opportunity because of the fact that the building would open to the public to see closely the Burberry," Dona Hasanaj says, the architect of "RIBA CR", London./Oculus News
