Gramos Mountain and natural reserve Gërmenj-Shelegur situated in a remote area of Kolonje district in Albania, is appealing to natural, ethnographic and cultural tourism.
A team from the Protection and Preservation of Natural Environment in Albania (PPNEA) along with environmental experts and journalist paid a visit to Gramos Mountain and natural reserve Gërmenj-Shelegur.
The team of the journalists, accompanied by PPNEA experts, was in the area for two days discovering fauna and flora as well as the cultural values of this region.It is worth mentioning the importance of Gramoz Mountain as an important "shelter" of the endangered species of wild goat (Rupicapra rupicapra balkanicus).
