An Albanian teenager was executed by gunfire on Monday evening in Denmark. According to Danish media, the crime took place in Copenhagen.
The victim is a 16-year-old born and raised in Denmark, while his parents are Albanians from Macedonia. He was the only child of the couple, while the crime has shaken the community where he lived. The teenager was going home at around 21:00 and was seen under the company of a group of people. Witnesses told the police that there were about 4 people along with the 16-year-old Albanian.
Then gunshots were heard. The youth group fled quickly. The same witnesses say that not far from the scene, a car was waiting for the four boys who were with the Albanian and then ran away. The teenager got at least 6 bullets in his body, local media say. Police suspect in advance that the cause may have been a quarrel among young people, but the exact causes are still unknown.
In the community where he lived, the 16-year-old Albanian was known as a quiet man.
"I do not dare to think about how his mom is now," a teenager said, holding the flower.
Investigators questioned the defunct parents, friends, and witnesses to identify the persons accompanying him in recent moments of his life.
