In Albania, a large amount of drugs was detected in late-night hours in the Babicë e Vogel village in the Vlora district. Suspected of over 4 tons of marijuana found in an apartment. The amount of narcotics is sequestered during a special police force operation and the Serious Crimes Prosecution Office.
Sources from the prosecution announced that the operation is part of an investigation launched since the end of last year on the basis of information received from the operating route and through secret services. According to the same sources, the operation constitutes the second phase of the investigation that several months ago led to the seizure of 24 tons of marijuana in Vlora villages, and according to Prosecution related to the group of Habilaj brothers involved in the Italian-Albanian criminal organization which was destroyed 3 days ago in Catania, Sicily.
