Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Athens before the end of this year. The news comes from Greek newspaper "Protothema", quoting Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias, who spoke to reporters after returning from Ankara.
Kotzias said he had agreed with Turkish authorities that Erdogan would visit Greece in the last 10 days of November or in the early days of December. Though allies in NATO, Turkey and Greece have major disagreements over the border islands and the divided island of Cyprus. Relations between Ankara and Athens worsened further in May, when the Greek court ruled against the extradition of eight Turks accused of participating in the coup against Turkish governemnt..
