The President of the Republic, Ilir Meta, met today with the Interior Minister of the Italian Republic, Mr. Marco Minniti.
Habilaj gang and accusations of former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri have been the focus of the conversation between Meta and Minniti.
Among other things, President Meta has assessed the strategic partnership between the two countries. He also praised Italy and Italy's anti-mafia role in the fight against organized crime and guaranteeing thus a safer future on both Adriatic coasts."Albania is today at a very important moment in building a healthy and sustainable economy, far from criminal sources," said Meta.
