Tirana police had two anti-drug operations last night arresting 6 persons and announcing watend three others. It was the director of the Tirana Police, Ardi Veliu, who gave some details of the operations where drugs is caught.
The structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate finalized 2 anti-drug operations coded "Befasia" and "Papafingo" in the last 24 hours.
As a result of these operations, a large quantity of narcotic drugs was seized, namely 1 ton and 291 kg of cannabis sativa, 1 firearm, 2 vehicles and 6 mobile phones.Also in these 2 operations are arrested 6 persons in flagrancy and three others are declared wanted.
During the "Befasia" operation are arrested: Fajton Mesi, 31, resident in Nikël-Çerek; Ilir Ferati, 31, resident in the village of Bardhoc, Kukës, Izmir Muja, 32, resident in Lum, Kukës, Sajmir Grosha, 33, resident in Bardhoc i Ri, Kukës, previously convicted.
Is declared wanted the citizen: A.Ç., 38, resident in Tirana. These persons were caught in flagrance in the evening hours on the road "Unaza e re, Lidhja e Prizrenit".
The Narcotics Investigation Section in Tirana Local Police Directorate received operational information for a group that carried out criminal activities in this area where it was suspected that Fatjon Mesi, Ilir Ferati, Izmir Muja, Sajmir Grosha and another citizen with initials A. Ç, in cooperation with each other, carried out illegal activity of selling suspected narcotic drugs of the type cannabis sativa in significant quantities to various persons in the Kamza area, Kamza Institute, Paskuqan, Babrrus etc.
