During the first 10 months of the year that we left behind our compatriots living in different countries of the world have about 623.8 million of euros in the form of remittances in Kosovo, while in 2016 the remittances from diaspora were 691 million euros.
According to official data of the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK) we can see that during October 2017, diaspora sent in Kosovo in the form of remittances about 69.7 million of euros, in September 63.1 million euro, in August 71 million euro, € 60 million in July, € 71.1 million in June, € 67.6 million in May, € 57.9 million in April, € 64.7 million in March, € 50.7 million in February and € 48 million in January.According to data published by the Central Bank of Kosovo, the vast majority of remittances in our country come through money transfer agencies, a part through banks, and a significant other amount through other roads.
Along with the official data can be seen that most of the deliveries in 2017 came from Germany.
Also, after Germany, according to official data, Switzerland ranks second with a total of 65 million euro shipments for nine months, the United States with over 20 million euro shipments for nine months, Italy with € 12.9 million of deliveries for nine months, Austria with 12 million euros, Belgium with 8 million euros, Sweden and France with over 10 million euros for nine months, Norway with 4 million euros, Canada with 4.5 million euros, England with 8 million euros, Denmark with 1.1 million euros, Finland with 2.2 million euros, the Netherlands with 1.6 million euros, Slovenia with 1.2 million euros, and by other countries 12.2 million euro shipments for the first nine months of the year we left behind.
